OMI Submissions to reviews and inquiries

The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) within the Department for Local Government works with Australian State and Local Governments to influence policy and services to better address the needs of people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds.

As part of this work, OMI prepares submissions to government reviews of legislation, policies and programs that impact on people from CaLD backgrounds. In developing its submissions, OMI consults with a range of stakeholders to ensure that submissions reflect the views and interests of Western Australia’s culturally and linguistically diverse community.
